I really like the look and feel of the website. There are plenty op options to customize the site and seems like pretty much everything has been thought of. It does take while to get through the videos and wrap my head around all of the available functions, but that is understandable.

Probably the tricky part that I've found is that there is lots of emails with lots of content and I found I'm searching around a bit to find the relevant videos for what I want to work on. It would be great to have an indexed page with all of them on, like a library, under each section, to make it easier to get to the right videos. If this is already in place then it would be great to know about it!

This platform seems to have all the necessary plug-ins and functions to get your directory website built and monitized. I like the fact that they supply lots of support via videos, documentation and email but, most importantly, they can provide "live" support via telephone and actual personnel! I haven't utilized that yet however I will as soon as I have compiled all the issues I need addressed.

There's still a lot of aspects that I am unsure how to set up and hope that the support will assist quickly and efficiently to help me address them.

I was like a kid in a candy store when I saw the features and benefits Brilliant Directories offer, especially with the Full License Plan.

Specifics that fired me up were things like:

- Hosted solution

- Plenty design settings

- The email marketing and lead gen tools (!!)

Those of course don't take anything away from any of the other features and it's really hard to put any above the others.

We were looking for a program that could be sort of an Angie's List for our community. We wanted to create the business so that our 6 year old could begin to learn how a business is run and have fun marketing to neighbors. I wasn't sure where to begin but found Brilliant Directories after putting something like, "make your own Angie's List" in the search engine. The prices seemed high, but they were great at working with us on the price. I did the trial and emailed a lot of questions back and forth, which were always answered in a timely manner and included a few phone calls. I opted for the Kickstart Onboarding package because there are some things about the software that I feel aren't so user friendly or instinctive, but they worked with me on the cost of that too. The true test will be if everything turns out as I hope after onboarding, but I have high hopes that this site will be great for our community and maybe pad my daughter's college fund a bit too!

I have just signed up using a tax time discount for BD. I've had a lot of difficulty getting replies from customer service due to timezone differences, and no reply to emails, however the video library is quite comprehensive, so i'm hoping that once I get access to my account I will be able to work it out from there. Purchased license at 8pm, didn't receive login details until after 1am - so not quite within the 1hr timeframe they give you. About to get started with my customisation, wish me luck!
