Tried This Software Out On Recommendation From Dan

Tried this software out on recommendation from Danish site www.Spywarefri.dk (sounds like and means "spyware free") after discovering that one anti-malware program just ain't enough. It has met my expectations. No compatibility issues whatsoever for me, not even after installing Kaspersky IS and PrevX, though I've seen a few complaints on various forums. I hardly ever notice it's presence, there's just the daily update notifications and then of course the "alert" pop ups, mostly when you've added some new process to the start-up list, in which case SS asks whether you allow it to run, but also - a feature I really like - when you're browsing the web and unknowingly connect to a site of bad reputation for malware: Then SS consults its blacklist and blocks access. Yes, it's got a slight baby-sitter resemblance, but that can save you quite a bit of irritation and time. UI is nice and clean, but you've got very few options for tweaking settings, and browser "shields", as the different modules are called, are really not for Firefox users, who perhaps don't need them so desperately anyway. As for ability to eliminate malware, the real strength of SS is, of course, to keep web dirt out, but I can testify that at least on three occasions it has been quicker than both PrevX and Kaspersky to detect and eliminate downloaded trojans. One more thing: Since my computer is online 24/7, I find the price for SS protection close to infinitesimal.
