Kaspersky Anti Virus

I just installed the version 2014 product and I am deeply disappointed.

The 2014 version is a clear setback compared to version 2013. I have to acknowledge that the new interface is beautiful and easy to use, but it is extremely limited.

missed The product features and functionality that made ​​reference in the category of security software.

Among the features that regressed in version 2014 include:

- Inability to save user settings;

- Inability to adjustments in control applications;

- Inability to adjust schedule definition updates;

- Inability to adjust modes of file verification;

- Incognita about the presence of existing verification technology.

- Lack of user and explanations about the safety manual modes.

- Unable to disable scanning of outgoing mail

Add these details with numerous incompatibility problems and slow performance of the system that is causing the software and you can understand why I recommend you all to stay with the 2013 version until the end of their licenses.

It is important to remember the development team at Kaspersky that when dealing with a software that has the purpose of providing security, it is essential to have full transparency in the way the software behaves and handles user files, or risk transforming the program into a true black box.

Advanced options besides enabling such transparency still possess in order to provide the user and even the technical staff troubleshoot compatibility without the need for a new version of software is developed.

Kaspersky Anti Virus seems to do it's job but gets corrupt from time to time so you have to re configure. Technical support seem to be non-existant. I've been waiting for a reply to a virus issue. The target date was August the 3rd with no reply so far. Will NOT renew my licence when it expires.
