Worst Printer Ever
I bought the Samsung CLX-2160 color printer for several $100 back in 2008 and feel like I was robbed. From day one this printer has never worked properly. I am lucky if I get it to print a single page. I get paper jams 99% of the time. After 4 years I am still trying to get it to print. Spent the last 3 hours trying to print one simple page. But the paper jams every time and I have to lift lids and try to pull paper out. This is a terrible printer in my opinion and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone.

As A User For Over Two Years I Have Found That It
As a user for over two years I have found that it prints to a relitively high standard. I does not jam nor does it curl paper. The running costs are pleasantly low. I use it in a small but busy parish office. It has no major vices and has the the virue of being simple to use.

Samsung Clx-2160n Or Clx-3175n Are Rubbish And I A
Samsung CLX-2160N or CLX-3175N are Rubbish and I as IT Engineer would not recommend it to no one to buy it.
In both models that we had paper Jam happen all the time, we got so frustrated with the dam printers, that got to a state no one wanted to print invoices,
Samsung Engineer can not fix the problem, in fact 3 times they come to fix it make it worst.
My advise is do not buy SAMSUNG especial CLX-3175 as CLX-2160 is not manufacturer any more.
Rubbish Printer.
Totally agree. I have many Samsung products in my house from t.v.'s to vacuum cleaners all of which are excellent. My CLX 2160 went streaky on me after 14 months and could not be fixed and the 3175 which I bought to replace it ( I erroneously assumed the rubbish 2160 must be a one off)has now gone the same way after 8 months. Hopefully I can get something sorted under warranty.
From experience stay away from Samsung Laser printers

My Samsung Clx-2160 Worked Well For Exactly 1 Year
My Samsung CLX-2160 worked well for exactly 1 year. From almost the exact day when the warranty expired a few weeks ago, it started to paper jam almost every time. I'd have to retry the same print many times -- and rip up many pages of blank paper -- to get one good page printed. Unfortunately, I have stocked up lots of its toner cartridges, so I cannot simply buy a new model of printer. I tried to shop for a new one of the same model, but discovered that FutureShop, BestBuy, and Staples no longer carry them. There are other people on the web complaining about how easy this machine encounters paper jams. Could this defect be the reason that those major retailers are no longer carrying it?
Before this, I had a Samsung blank-and-white laser multifunction printer for 4 years without any problems. But now I am a bit gun shy about Samsung.

Bought It From Pcwb, And The Sales Service Was Gre
Bought it from PCWB, and the sales service was great. It was 160 including shipping to the store. The salesman was friendly and we even had it delivered to our car, when it arrived there. Its a large box for such a small printer, but the packaging looked well designed, and held the printer perfectly. On first inspection, the printer looked very well built, rather than the cling film plastic Lexmark all-in-one inkjet it is replacing, and its weight proves it, even though it is such a small device. I chose it, as I fancied a laser, colour obviously, reliability and an compact all in one, mainly because I have limited desk space. It fits the job perfectly, and I havent seen hardly any colour laser multifunction devices, albeit the ones I have seen are larger and much more expensive. Set up was easy, just put the disk in, and press OK, and bob's your uncle, not unlike the tricky lemark software. The paper tray is handy, but I had difficulty with this. When I first lifted it out of the box, the tray was flush in the machine, as soon as you take it out and add paper, it sticks out. I was worrying whether I'd broken it, but that evening I tilted it, and guess what, the paper tray was all the way in! I did email Samsung customer support, and the next day they told me it is supposed to do that. You see, there is no physical paper manual, unlike other printers, only a quick start guide, which didn't tell me this. You can download one, but apparently there is one installed with the drivers. It's got good connectivity, as it even has a USB socket on the front, so you can print from it, and even scan to it. I plugged it in, but it can only read Microsoft Word compatibility format, not the new 2007 format, which is a bit dissapointing. It scans great, the actual TWAIN format in Photoshop CS3 is good, and you can keep importing imagery, rather than clicking back to the Import menu. Its relatively quick at importing and previewing which is important if you have a lot of imagery, and all the tools are conveniently located at the side. Printing is also excellent, it zips through documents like lightening, even coloured documents. The colour is vivid, the type is sharp and the images are well defined- even those from the Internet, and as a graphic's student, this is important. The toners are relatively cheap to buy, around £30 for each toner, but they last for 1000 pages each, the black 2000 pages, so they are hardly going to deplete quickly. I also believe you can buy a complete toner refill kit from eBay, but whether this is as good as buying new toner, I dont know, it also voids the warranty. Even at this time, it has impressed me, and I'm sure it will last for many years to come.

An All-in-one Laser Printer/copier/scanner At This
An all-in-one laser printer/copier/scanner at this price and in this compact size sounds to good to be true and it is. I believed that I would get better quality and cheaper print costs over an inkjet but I was wrong in both cases. It is compact but much bigger than an all-in-one inkjet printer. To sum up, it's painfully slow, curls paper, uneconomical and fuzzy in my experience. Mine is on ebay if this review hasn't put you off!

Simple, Good Price For A Well Built All In One Pri
Simple, good price for a well built all in one printer. Always preferred Samsung printers and wouldnt want replace this machine for any other I have experienced.Easy to use, quick, good quality, good price, well built, reliable...Well recommend Samsung CLx-2160n, not the best looking machine, but I am not someone to bring round the whole street to say "Hey, look at my cool all in one printer!".
