This Printer Needs To Be Taken Outside And Crushed
This printer needs to be taken outside and crushed with a bat just like on the movie office space. That is the only thing that will make me feel good about owning this piece of junk. I called Kodak because they obviously failed with their printers and the only help I got was an offer to buy another one. Not in a million years Kodak.

Kodak Have Really Mastered The Art Of False Market
Kodak have really mastered the art of false marketing....
Not only have i just had 23 (yes 23) attempts to print a single page (not uncommon) but this printer will NOT save you you money on ink. It is a con. I have never got worse returns on Ink cartridges than the 5100 Easyshare.
I have had this printer for over a year and I have never ever had a worse IT product. Period.

Please Do Not Waste Your Money On This Printer. I
Please do not waste your money on this printer. I got this as a moving house gift so it was brand new and in the packaging. After spending hours trying to get it to work, i called Kodak only to find it was out of warranty so they would not help me. I'm now left with a lump of machine which bearly switches on. As for Kodak's "Customer Service" they were nice enough to offer me another printer....for £80....

Not At All Happy With The 5100. Print Quality Poor
Not at all happy with the 5100. Print quality poor.... that is when it works. I changed the cartridges and could only print in colour, black would not work at all. I have been on several forums and all report similar problems. Lots of people reported that they had to change the printhead numerous times. My advice would be lokk for something better.

By Far The Worst Printer I Have Worked With; That
By far the worst printer I have worked with; that comment is backed with 30 years of experience in the IT industry. I support buying American manufactured products although throwing my money away on this Kodak product is disappointing.

Cheap ink..
Good Price..
It would be great if it worked and if they would just give you a driver rather then make you install a bunch of software to get your printer to work. I do not recommend the Kodak Easy share 5100 AIO due to this. Also my all in on printer has stopped printing black ink and I have tried 2 new carts and it will not work!

Ink Prices Are About £16 The Pair Of Catrid
Ink prices are about £16 the pair of catridges, black and colour and so far have used about half of each on 70 photo's plus cd labels and general printing. Good fast output and so simple to use. Found that software supplied, the drivers and photo printing app' which kept hanging and Kodak's photo album is not needed with windows vista, just plug in printer and vista will find/download just the drivers all on it's own. This gives you just the ink levels and printing options. Windows photo gallery on vista is so simple to use for printing photo's with this printer and saves cluttering up your hard drive with yet more software. This printer is the bottom end of the range at about £50 with set of full sized cartridges, printing is just the same as the next two models , next one has card slots and screen but most pcs have card slots and you have a monitor anyway, saving £50. Top model has these plus fax, add another £150 on base model if you really need these.
Photo's meant to last years due to clear coating. HP was giving trouble after 18 months and this printer was almost as cheap as a set of HP inks so no contest. All in all the best printer to date of six over 15 years and no bull on the box, it really is cheap to run and photo's about the same as online services cost wise, without the waiting.
