HP Color LaserJet 2840

Print quality of HP LaserJet 2840 is acceptable.

However, I felt this has just got to be one of the noisiest printers on the planet. This printer was purchased to provide a network facility for a shared colour printer. We have an open plan office 10m x 10m. If meetings are scheduled we now need to turn off the HP 2840 Printer or it drowns out normal conversation.

Further challenges are created by its propensity to recalibrate at various random times throughout the day.

This is the first time in twenty years I have reverted to HP Printers. Won't be making that mistake again... Now going back to Canon

The HP 2840 is less than 6 months old and has probably produced less 1000 sheets. We are now looking to dispose of it to someone with reduced hearing capabilities !
