Brother MFC-3420C

None in my experience, I keep getting Error 41, but finding difficulty finding the meaning of this and the solution! Please comment me if you know of what I have to do, but for the time being I do not recommend the Brother MFC 3420C as I feel it is not well made compared to that of it's competitors that are priced at around the same in the market.

This Brother MFC 3420C is my second Brother product and I feel I have given them a fair shake (the second one was a gift). I will NOT buy another Brother product again!! Their customer support is generic (they pass on the responsibity, cost, work, etc...), their machines are considered 'disposable' because the cost to buy the machine is low, but the cost to repair the machine is high, hence, it is cheaper to throw the machine away and buy another one than to fix it! Shame on Brother! Our landfills do not need 'disposable' office machines. The cost of ink is high I think ($35 Canadian$ for Black, $17 each for yellow, cyan, and magenta), and because it uses so much ink in just cleaning, you are replacing ink about every 3 - 4 months without using any color printing, which renders your machine useless (you can't even fax). Print heads on Brother MFC are quite famous for failing, they offer 1 year warranty on the print head, but last year extended it 2 years because of pressure from negative reviews on web sites (like this one) that it was unfair. There is a web site called www.fixyourownprinter.com (I believe) that anyone can access to read forums on different printers, scanners, MFC, etc... that i where I found that MANY others were having the same problem as I was with my Brother product. Overall... Won't buy another one, CANNOT recomend their products.
