Samsung N120

This samsung n120 notebook is a very capable machine.

Apart from the size of the screen, it is if you are working on a full sized laptop. It has a fast processor, good sized hard drive and is as flexible as Windows XP gets. Importantly it has a very sensitive WiFi receiver enabling visibility and connection to all available networks over a wide area - though a Vista operating system would have given even better flexibility in managing connections.

The bright, crisp 10inch screen takes a bit of customising to maximise the usable area when working with say, Internet Explorer but it helps that there are some useful flexible mouse pad tools to aid rapid page scanning and navigation.

The keyboard is a good size and the N120 notebook has been carefully thought through for maximising battery life. I have been able to keep it booted up for about week, using it for up to an hour each day before the battery dies. Alternately, it is more than capable of lasting all day when out if you are hibernating it between uses - so no need to carry a power unit.

Overall - a highly recommended bit of kit.
