The Samsung N110 Netbook Has Been One Of My Better

The Samsung N110 Netbook has been one of my better buys. It was an upgrade from the NC10 and, at the time of buying was pretty expensive. As with all tech products it came down in price pretty quickly and is now around the £280 mark. It has an Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB ram, 160GB hard drive (now increased to 250GB)and a nice looking 10.1" LED WSVGA screen. It was preinstalled with Windows XP (now available with Windows 7). The real winner for me was the battery life. A staggering 9 hours worth and that is exactly what I got. I was extremely impressed as I had previously owned a Dell netbook. The Dell was a good looking thing but it's battery life was no better than my bigger 15" laptop...around 2 hours. I have owned the N110 for just under a year now and, fully charged I still get around 7 hours of battery life out of it. This is very dependant on how much you do with it but, even at full capacity expect around the 5 hour mark. The keyboard on it is nearly full-size so typing is no issue and internet connectivity, via it's built in WiFi is very stable and easy to set up and use. I mainly use the N110 for internet browsing and work and regularly use it for PowerPoint presentations, which it handles with ease. Without a DVD drive, work will need to be saved via a usb flash drive or just take the thing into work with you, it's that light and easily portable. It does have a mini-VGA slot for connecting to a bigger screen. Overall, this is a fantastic netbook and well worth the money.
