Aspire One 531

I like acer brand , And acer aspire is good laptop, I will buy this laptop soon.

Bought this notebook for my niece, just for her to surf the net. I was drawn to it by the long battery life. My niece was over the moon with it, (she's 14), and far better than the old laptop that she had before.

In looks it is quite stylish, neat and tidy and the keyboard is quite ergonomic. It wasn't as far as I hoped it would be, but again it was far better than what she had before so she was chuffed.

Notebooks are perfect for just surfing, but if you want to rip a cd/dvd onto your music library, you'll have to attach an external cd/dvd drive. So I bought my niece an external drive also, so when you take the price of the notebook, (£249), and the price of a cd/dvd drive, (£30-40), you could have probably bought a laptop that had an internal drive.

My niece has now had the notebook three months, and unfortunately it is now in for repair at Currys, due to the screen not working, appears to be some sort of connection problem. Also the battery pack seems a bit loose.

So overall, even though my niece was really chuffed with it, I'm completely disappointed that only three months after buying it from new that it is in for repair, and that is time that she is left without her notebook.
