I Find The Toshiba L500-1xd To Be An Excelent Lapt
I find the Toshiba L500-1XD to be an excelent laptop computer for the home or Office work. It's fast runs applications with ease. Games played on laptop Far Cry (Low - Medium Settins) Freedom Fighters (High Settings) BattleField 2 (Medium Settings). Like most laptops of today battery power is poor 2hrs max.

Disappointing. My 4 Year-old Laptop Has A Be
Disappointing.
My 4 year-old laptop has a better screen and sound quality. The speaker sound is very tinny.
The mouse is off centre, which makes the use of the mouse rather uncomfortable.
The buttons on the mouse are clunky, noisy.
All in all, this laptop feels very cheap. I chose a Toshiba because my previous laptop was a Toshiba and I was very happy with it. But after 4 years, I decided it was time to upgrade, thinking the newer Toshiba laptops would have more to offer. But isn't the case. In fact, I miss my old laptop...
Yes the touchpad is off centre pesonally I like this. You can recofig touchpad using Toshiba Assist, everyones tasts are differant. The screen can also be adjusted to suit your own needs using Toshiba Settings. the sound quauity can be changed by using realtec audio manager. I've owned L500-1XD for over 6 mths now I config laptop to the way I like and find it to be an excelent home laptop, It's fast runs all my applications with ease. I play Far Cry (Low Settings) + Freedom Fighters (Medium Settings)I would recomend this laptop to anyone.
