Toshiba Satellite A300-1BZ

Good laptop which I had purchased from PC World along with the techguy support for £9.95 a month which was a complete ripoff as they continually denied my laptop had any problems. Toshiba, however, were brilliant in helping sort out various problems with my laptop involving mainly the sound causing the harddrive to skip. This has been resolved after I installed Windows 7 Professional and downloaded all the new Windows 7 drivers from the website. They replaced my hard drive twice with no quibble.

I rated the screen 4 out of 5 because it could be a tiny bit brighter; after using my Toshiba NB200-11L I find my eyes straining on my a300-1bz.

The processor is brilliant, capable of Virtualisation, it's energy efficient and pretty fast overall.

I'm happy with this machine and think it was worth its £650 pricetag, but I buy direct from Toshiba now where I can because they are very good in helping people out with problems (of course it depends who you speak to but I just hang up and call again if I'm not getting anywhere with someone).
