Toshiba L300-11V

my 1st laptop was a Toshiba M2 Tecra s/hand. i was so impressed i bought this L300-29x in dark metallic grey in the 15.5ins version about 18mnths later because i fancied a speedier laptop. ive experienced Vista but decided to flash the drive and install XP pro. the drivers needed to make things work installed with no dramas. over time ive found usual issues with media players etc but the laptop works well on the whole and does handle movies ok. the internet can be very slow and even stop on occasions .. but whats new there?

i prefer the dark finish rather than the new silver generation as it cuts down on the glare.

the keys seem more solid than the M2 and their placement of the Delete key u have to get used to as its at the top .. not down the bottom of the keyboard. i quite like the touch pad and the buttons are positive .. although i have a wireless mouse. its build solidly and although there's NO SD slot ... i fitted a Express to SD adapter .. sorted!

ive never used the media keys at the top.

the stripy finish patterned has grown on me. its dual core and nly 1.8G but quite speedy.

just bought the Toshiba L300-11V and it performs greatly it simply has the value for the money i will recommend this laptop for every body. . . . . .

The Toshiba L300-11V is cheap, easy to use, good battery life.

In-built wireless adapter regularly crashes and this is apparently a common problem. Other applications have since started to fail i.e. Windows Media Player

I have had this laptop for almost 2 years so considering the price, the resultant problems aren't entirely unexpected.

If you can't get wifi to work here's how:

Go on start, computer

click on the c drive

go onto toshiba

then onto drivers

next click Wlan

after that click Realtek

Finally find setup and run it.

The laptop has amazing hd sound hd screen fabulous processor amazing ram

Runs fast the tracker is very good and so is the keyboard, the preinstalled software is very good including logging in by face recognition the trubrite screen also works very well I believe it is the best in it's category!
