I Have Bought It Just Over A Year Now And Guess Wh

I have bought it just over a year now and guess what, once the warranty is over there starts trouble.I repair laptop as a part time job and I never ever expected this from sony vaio.Problem starts with battery not charging and figured out the power supply bit that sits on the motherboard has corrupted with a bit of rust.I never thought this could happen on a vaio and now I need a motherboard replacement which cost the same price of a brand new laptop.Stay away and don't buy.Called the helpline and guess what? Automated system says" Unfortunately your product is out of warranty." How can this happen when this laptop has been so carefully looked after.Stay away and think twice before you buy any laptop 3 times the price of others..

Absolutely Brilliant. What More Could You Ask For,

Absolutely brilliant. What more could you ask for, great price for a well built, top quality Sony Laptop that looks modern and cool. Functional light and powerful, well recommend the Sony Vaio VGN laptop. Go for the VGN-TX5MN/W as it's light and great battery compared to most laptops..

Out Of The Vaio's I Have Owned The Vgn-tx5mn Is By

Out of the Vaio's i have owned the VGN-TX5MN is by far the slowest, even slower than the c1 which had a 533mhz processor and is 8 years old. I don't know whether it is vista or the core solo processor but this machine probably takes 10mins to come out of hibernation and 15 mins to boot. I am not exaggerating either. If you don't manually try to connect to the internet you will probably be waiting 20 mins for your wi-fi to pick it up.This machine is expensive in comparison to laptops with the same screen size and yet has the weakest processor.
