Sony VAIO VGN-C1S

good computer sony i think very good and reliable computers, would reconmend Sony VAIO VGN-C1S to friends, this one has the smaller screen so very good to carry around, main dislike only 2 usb ports, but not really a problem these days with adapters and wireless devices, well made and finished.

Sony VAIO VGN-C1S - It's great! Never needed to get it repaired, and never had any problems with it!

In the first year, the frame around the screen became loose. Then started to heat up so bad it was burning my legs. The loud noise is another story... I have to wear a headphone while I am working! It is a disaster. I paid £1500 pound one and half years ago for a Sony laptop! Don't go with the brands thinking they are good quality... unfortunately I made a mistake I feel and do not recommend Sony Vaio VGN C1S.

If you are looking to buy this laptop consider the following :

1. Heats way too fast and feels very hot (first when I got it I thought it's broken because it was heating so fast)

2. The battery died in 1 yr and I didn t over use it

3. You cant make this laptop silent. When you on it even if it's on mute you can hear loud the logo sound.

4. The speaker is way to low

I had this laptop for 2 years now and I am looking forward to buy another laptop, another brand!

The best laptop I have ever owned and i have had quite a few.

The Sony VAIO VGN-C1S is a good priced laptop with the Sony Vaio name, have had several other laptops but the vaio feels and looks good.
