Samsung X15

Very technically sound. Very comfortable keyboard and mouse pad. Speakers could have been louder. Display screen is brilliant but, resolution could have been better. Slim, slick and very sexy. Fit for outdoorsy use and as an ash tray too. All I can say is you can use this machine anyway your life suits you to.

Well, I have this laptop for more than a year. It's quite slow and not that easy to use, but I didn't expect much for that price. It's very good for simple work with computer, like checking yuor e-mail and editing some text. Wouldn't recomment it for game lovers, becaseu the graphics aren't very impressive. But I already got used to all this somputer's disadvantages and enjoying this product qute much.

I choose this Samsung X15 as it was a reasonably well specced laptop (Centrino 1.5), and lightweight for a 15" screen. Being Centrino based it was already Wireless enabled (802.11b, rather than g, but you can always add an extra card at a later date).

So far I have been pleased with it. Not yet got to test the Cd writer - but good to have one.
