I Bought The Laptop Just Under A Year Ago, The Rea
I bought the laptop just under a year ago, the reason was it was on offer from Argos at a penny under £400. It came with a three year extended guarantee, three years AVG and a free mouse and carrying case and the usual extras. I don't really know how long the batteries last because I use it on the mains all the time along with Pro speakers. The inbuilt speakers aren't all that special. If you listen to DVD or watch movies you need additional speakers (review to come soon) I also use another keyboard with the mouse. I can't get on with the laptop keyboard as it's too far forward on my computer table. The laptop mouse is really awkward for me.
Once the laptop refused to close down (I was on the mains with the battery installed) I pulled the plug out of the wall socket, still it wouldn't close so I had to manually remove the battery. Since then I never used the battery again.
The R519 came with 2.2GB Intel Pentium Dual Core, 4GB ram and a 250GB hard drive also Windows 7. All in all a very good buy.
