Since purchasing this laptop from Argos on 15th March 2010; I have phoned Samsung support on numerous occasions with major issues. I must stress that I have owned and operated PC,s & Laptops since 1998. This new LT has been returned for the second time, with a different fault, to have a new fan fitted.I have had to reboot 4 times meaning the elimination of pre-loaded junk programes and re-installation of my own preference; nameley, Ccleaner. AVG, Spybot, Open office , to name a few.My LT was collected on the 27th June to which I am still awaiting return. The pluss' are that it has a 3 year warrantee and a free help center staffed mainly by Scottish personell, who are most helpful but not always knowledgable.

I suggest that you only buy this if you are willing to suffer as I have.

When it is returned I will carry out the elimination and installation of programes again and should it require further repair I will complain to the Office of Fair Trading, as the item is not fit for the purpose it was intended for.
