The Xtreme CTX is not the sort of laptop for someone looking to do some light web browsing and write an occasional document, it is both too cumbersome and has too shorter battery life to make it attractive for that kind of use on a regular basis. This laptop should be viewed more as a mobile entertainment centre, it is ideal for playing games and all sorts of multimedia applications and it excels in these areas.This laptop is definitely a desktop replacement, unlike many other laptops on the market which require a 'proper' desktop for running serious applications, the CTX is capable of doing it all in a nice neat package. Personally I bought this laptop to keep myself amused when I stay away on business week and it has lived up to every expectation I had at purchase time.
