Medion Akoya Mini E1210 Is An Impressive Notebook
Medion Akoya Mini E1210 is an impressive notebook , the bluetooth is not built in but with a dongle.
Battery life is too short 2 hours maximun just enough for looking 1 movie if i the batteries are fully loaded.
The bag included is of good quality and the charging unit can be placed in it.
The price is very attractive i recommend this notebook to anyone

I Had My Medion Akoya Mini E1210 Netbook For 6 Mon
I had my Medion Akoya Mini E1210 netbook for 6 months. I love the portability of this netbook, but I haven't had an opportunity to travel with it yet. I was pleased with it until I discovered that the built in mic was faulty and within 3 months the lettering on a couple of keys started rubbing off and two keys are now no longer lettered, funnily enough all the other keys are perfectly fine. The built in camera on this doesn't seem to be very good either and the scope for improving its performance with the software provided seems limited.

Compact, Stylish, Light. A 3 year warranty as standard when bought from Aldi (UK). Can be dual booted. Mine runs XP Pro and Ubuntu (8.10) with no problems. The 160GB hard drive is ample.
Battery life is 2-3 hours on standard 3 cell battery.
The 3 cell battery has since been replaced by a 6 cell unit (Aldi stores March 2009) which provides 6-7 hours of life. This, when combined with a 3 year warranty, places it well towards, if not at, the top of the 10" netbook tree in my opinion.
It really is a fantastic piece of kit.

Pmedion Akoya Mini E1210 Laptop Has Great Style, E
PMedion Akoya Mini E1210 laptop has great style, easy to use, even with my big fat fingers and more powerful than my pc and big laptop. I have put Photoshop on mine and Microsoft Office it came with Wordperfect as well as XP. All working well. Excellent screen for the size which shows films surprisingly well. revious comments talk about poor support, but when I didn't understand something and rang for clarification the person I spoke to was helpful and polite and sorted me out straight away. The version I have has the 160gb hard drive and the n standard wifi (which is faster or something), comes with a protective case (not the best quality but certainly adequate) and a bluetooth dongle. I had been looking at the Advent and MSI versions of this and then found that the Medion was basically the same thing, was £272 in my local Aldi, had a slightly higher spec and came with a three year guarantee. Not a sexy brand in some peoples eyes I'm sure but value for money cannot be argued with in my book. Could do with a longer lasting battery. To date I am very impressed and would recommend this.

The Medion Akoya Mini E1210 Is A Good Product Givi
The Medion Akoya Mini E1210 is a good product giving you styling and functionality that you will be hard pressed to find elsewhere at the price. Medion are a German organisation and this is reflected in the design and build quality of the product.
If you purchase this little gem I do not believe that you will be dissapointed.

Just Sent My Medion Akoya Mini E1210 Back For Repa
Just sent my Medion Akoya Mini E1210 back for repair for the second time in 3weeks.Deeply regret buying this - support staff seem to be very unhelpful with me, and I feel they have a don't care attitude.I know there a lot of satisfied customers out there but it is when a product goes wrong you find the true colours of these people. The first time it went back for repair the diagnosis was the ram memory was not seated correctly in it's connection.I wonder what will be wrong with it this time.
I've Had Mine For A Month And A Half And It Is Won
I've had mine for a month and a half and it is wonderful so far. I take it everywhere and use it constantly so it has had a good hammering, both in terms of text and images, and has performed in all cases with aplomb, and handles presentations with no problem (I use OpenOffice Impress which I prefer to Powerpoint). I hope to have it for the foreseeable future as a constant travellling companion as an ideal supplement to my Dell Inspiron 630, and find it aesthetically pleasing (more so than the smallest Apple: it can load OS Leopard as well, by all accounts, Mac fetishists) as well as supremely efficient. My friend has the Advent equivalent, and although they are almost identical, the Medion seems much superior for some unquantifiable reason. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Great Usability And Design, Very Quiet Operation,
Great usability and design, very quiet operation, can be on for over 5 hours and is still freezing cold underneath (very good thing!).. screen is brilliant, and can play movies in better quality than my actual laptop (this is a netbook) although this does not have a DVD drive. What do you expect for a laptop/netbook this size? Reccomended buy! 80gig hard drive, 1.6ghz Atom, 3 USB ports, and a 10 inch screen - what more could you want from a netbook...
