I run 32 of these laptops at a school. All have beared up well to contant battering by youngsters over the last two years. The AMD processor needs a boost to maximum memory (2Gb I think) to get the most out of it.

I Had Been Using Nx6325 For Over 14 Months And Fou
I had been using NX6325 for over 14 months and found this system is stable and capable to process day to day work fast enough. If you are comparing the speed from Intel processor yes it will be slower and that is the fact. However by judging the build quality at the price I bought this unit at that time (est. USD1200) with 3 yrs door step service. I have not other chance.
Furthermore, I have been spending lots of time looking for laptop which is not using Wide screen. IMHO, Wide Screen is more useful when watching movie. For net surfing and documentation 4:3 is better.

This Is A Great Buy For A Small Business But Do No
This is a great buy for a small business but do not buy for your home computer as the battery lasts no longer than 20mins from full charge and as the computer only has 512 RAM it is SLOW!. Also the laptop/notebook is heavy. If you were to but this laptop/notebook i would recommend upgrading certain things including RAM,sound card and a bigger hard drive.

Not good. I've had my NX6325 just over 6 months and practically everything that could have gone wrong with it, has gone wrong with it. When the laptop was no more than 3 months old, the power supply broken, not a good start. 'HP' promptly replaced it, but the problems did not end there! A few weeks later the hinges on the screen snapped and therefore, the lid does not close any more! The soundcard is also faulty, as it broke when being used to do a friends disco, it let me down big time!
Now that the laptop is 6 months old, more serious problems are starting to occur, the laptop had to be fully formatted to its factory settings, as windows would not run. Not good, as I had my g.c.s.e course work on the laptop!

Having Used One Of These At Work I Quickly Bought
Having used one of these at work I quickly bought one for home, and work as since picked up two more. For me, the great features are the built-in memory card reader and DVD burner. When I'm away from home I like to be able to view pictures I've taken that day and sometimes burn them (or video material) to CD or DVD.
Otherwise this is a competent laptop running Windows XP, it comes in a few flavours depending on your memory and graphics requirements but even the base model (which I bought for £350) is well specified for most functions. I find it comfy to use, and fast once it gets going...but it can take quite a while to boot up. The machine transcodes and burns DVD's quicker than my desktop PC (which is similarly specced but runs Windows 2000).
I can't really find fault, though at work through heavy use the keys feel a little different to my own laptop which leads me to wonder if they are becoming worn out. Battery life is pretty good, I've watched a 2 hour movie during a flight without any trouble. Graphics manipulation seems quite rapid and the internal speakers are OK for playing music.
Further update May 2014. My mother still uses this laptop which is now over 7 1/2 years old, in addition the three we have at work are still functioning - though the DVD burner on one is no longer recognised.
All in all, for such a budget laptop, the four examples I've used proved excellent in reliability.
I just thought I would add that 5 years on the laptop is still going. I did upgrade the memory but it's still trucking. My wife uses it every day for general surfing and MS Word. Battery life reduced to around 45-50 minutes so we bought a 2nd battery in 2009...but that is a common 'fault' of all lithium ion batteries.
