I have a Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro v2010, I had this laptop given to me, and I'm very pleased with it. Could anyone tell me how old the laptop is, and what the price range of them was when they first come out?

I Bought The Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V2010 Lapto
I bought the Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V2010 laptop as my desktop is ancient, and a Packard Bell, so I was sick and tired of it not working very well.
I initially made this investment so I could play World of Warcraft (great game until you get to level 60, then there is nothing to do...) and I was pleased with the results.
This laptop comes with a great spec sheet: 1.3g processor, 256meg RAM (upgradeable to 2gig), Wi-Fi ready. Everything that most people would care for, and it cost me less than £400 (plus VAT and P+P) bringing the total cost of this machine to £465 (I bought this from Ebuyer.com - there may be cheaper companies out there now as this machine has been superceeded by more up to date models). Not too bad when other manufaturers are charging well above that for similar equipment.
I have now owned this machine for eight months and it has never let me down. I have lugged it all over the place on the back of my motorbike and it always works wonderfully. It has never crashed on me and never done anything other than what it has been asked to do.
I have installed more RAM, which was a slight 'mare as the instructions indicate that the best way to install RAM is to let Fujitsu Siemens do it, so I did it myself. There is a website out there somewhere that explains with pics on how to do it.
The only down side is the graphics card. As mentioned I wanted to play World of Warcraft, but my desktop was not high enough spec. So I got this laptop and the game and started to play. The graphics card was the weakest point. The animation was fine, nice and fluid, but the ground was not good. It was not angular (hills etc) but the grass and stone that made up the floor covering was very poor quality. Since buying the game I did some digging and this graphics cad in this machine is not recommended for WoW. BUT, this did not stop me playing and enjoying the game.
I also find the mouse pad extremely annoying. As I type I may brush my thumb along the pad, and low and behold either the page has moved down, I have started typing in the midle of another sentence or the internet page has gone back and I have lost everything to date. This is my third attempt to write this review because of my blooming thumb.
Apart from these little niggles (and they are little as the graphics card has not been a problem outside of the game and the thumb is mine...) I cannot find anything the gripe about with this laptop. It is very affordable, well spec'd and reliable. I cannot find a similar laptop for the money asked.
