This Evesham Laptop Was Installed With 1024mb Memo

This Evesham laptop was installed with 1024MB memory at a time (5 years ago) when the norm was 512MB. However it has always been terminally slow to boot up, prone to regular lockups and very, very noisy. The Power cable is unique and it broke within 3 weeks of delivery - I should have been warned by this low tech issue in the early stages.

Battery life was OK for the first year then tailed off markedly. Screen quality is satisfactory if a little dull in even low sunlight. All in all if this was the only Laptop experience I had I would never want another. I chose the laptop on the recommendation of PC Advisor - won't be doing that again either.

The Evesham Voyager 6400 Laptop We Bought Last Yea

The Evesham Voyager 6400 laptop we bought last year has been thoroughly unreliable. It has repeatedly crashed, locked up, the USB ports have worked sporadically and the expansion port fell to pieces though it had not been used.

Repairs have been unsatisfactory and a replacement exhibited the same faults as the original. Though payment was made for a on-site repair, each time it needed to be repaired the computer had to be returned to Evesham. This has meant that, though we have owned the computer for nearly a year we have lost the use of it for at least three months. In addition, work has been lost and time has had to be spent re-installing and setting up programmes each time repairs have resulted in wiping the hard disc.

We cannot get a refund and are stuck with a computer and a company in which we have no faith.
