I'm 15 And Have Had This Dell Inspiron 1520 Laptop

I'm 15 and have had this Dell inspiron 1520 laptop since christmas '08. This laptop is now 3 years old and it's running just as it did as it was new. I have a dent in the screen but that is from my own fault as the plug went through it, even with this dent the screen is fine and uneffected apart from the direct part of the screen that the plug hit and it's barely even noticable. I listen to music all of the time and therefore i find the volume and music control keys EXTREMELY useful and they work amazingly. I don't really know much about what is classed as good screen quality but i find this screen amazing, there's nothing wrong with it, nothing has been pixelated or anything. I love this laptop to bits, i like to be 'up with the latest technology' but i plan on keeping this laptop for a long time yet.

I hope this review has been helpful. :D

I Love My Dell Inspiron 1520. I Have Had It For A

I love my Dell Inspiron 1520. I have had it for about a year and a half now, and it still looks and works like brand new. It sports a T7100 1.8 Ghz Core 2 Duo processor, 4gb DDR2 667 Mhz RAM, 200gb 7200rpm SATA hard drive, DVD burner, AT&T mobile broadband, Bluetooth, Built-in webcam and mic. It is just an awesome laptop, nd I highly recommend it to everyone.

The Dell Inspiron 1520 Is A Very Good Laptop. I Ha

The Dell Inspiron 1520 is a very good laptop. I have the model without the webcam. The 1520 is very beautiful and is available in a large range of colours. The Ram can easily be accessed, replaced and modified with just a screw driver (One slot below the keyboard and the second on the back behind a vent). The Monitor is pretty sharp and very bright however can look a little grainy on a while background. The battery life is good and a larger battery can also be purchased. Has nice media buttons on the front (Mute, Volume Up, Volume Down, Play/Pause, Skip B, Skip F and Stop). The touch pad is good however you will most likely want to disable the 'tap to click' on it because you tend to accidently tap it with your thumb when typing and it will click off of the page. The Inspiron is fairly light and has many ports. These include 4 USB 2.0, an SD memory card slot, VGA monitor slot. The laptop also has little blue lights on the side showing weather the laptop is on, low on battery, Wi-Fi on/off and Bluetooth on/off (however I have no worked out how to use the bluetooth). As standard the laptop comes with 1GB of Ram. However, I feel 2GB is necessary with Windows Vista. I easily upgraded from 512x2 to 1GBx2 costing about £25.

I Bought My Dell Inspiron 1520 Shortly After They

I bought my Dell Inspiron 1520 shortly after they became available. I bought it from the Dell Outlet Store and it was pre-configured and had already been built. I tell you I got one great deal on this laptop and saved quite a bit of money buy buying it from Dell Outlet. I have now had this gem of a laptop for over a year now, and it still looks and runs as if it were brand new/ just purchased. It is still smooth running and quiet, and the dedicated NVIDIA 8600M 256 MB graphics is just simply awesome. I updated the RAM in it from the 2 GB that it had come with to the full 4 GB RAM, and I also put in a brand new 200 gb 7200 RPM hard drive and reinstalled Vista Ultimate when I first got the laptop as well. It also came with Cingular/ AT&T mobile broadband 5520 internal card and Creative's Expresscard remote, which I haven't used too much, but from what I have used it proves to be a great addition. With all of the upgrades and the components and things that came with this laptop, this laptop is tweaked out, and has proven to be about the best laptop out there. My next quest will probably be to attemt to get a Dell 15.4" or 17" gaming rig laptop. But this laptop can also be used for and is sometimes used for an exceptional gaming laptop. Running the latest and greatest games, I have not had one problem with doing that. Thumbs up to Dell and everything that Dell has done for me. Thanks, Dell!! You have really proved to me that you are a superb computer manufacturer.

I absolutely love my Dell Inspiron 1520. I have not had one bit of trouble with it, even with it running Windows Vista, which I also absolutely love. During the whole purchase And all throughout the warranty, Dell support has been wonderful and great.

Currently, I Have A Brand New Dell Ispiron 1520 54

Currently, I have a brand new DEll Ispiron 1520 [email protected], 1014MB which a friend bought for me in the UK. However, the B, N and SPACE BAR buttons seldom work thereby making it very difficult for me to work. Again, the wireless seems not to work because in areas where other laptops receive wireless signals, it does not. When I switch on the wireless button, the lights do not even come up. This really makes sick.

The Dell Inspiron 1520 Is Ace. I Have Found It A J

The Dell Inspiron 1520 is ace. I have found it a joy to use and I love my ruby red shell. As for performance at over '£1000 I am getting what I paid for.
