BenQ JoyBook 8000

Was a wonderful machine but at some points only I could use it because there were no letters on the keys. Likes it better that the brand new Hp I have just bought but never mind.

I went for the 2.4GHz BenQ Joybook 8000 which is the top of their current range. I paid £1144 including VAT (contact [email protected]) incredible price considering that at the beginnning of September 2003 the 2.0GHz was still retailing at £1699! You won't find a better and more stylish machine for the money. It really does come close to the Mac Powerbooks in everyway but price (& sound!)

I did plenty of research into all the LapTops on the market and am very happy with my choice. It is indeed a joy! Just Buy one! You won't be disappointed.

This joybook is very stylish. I am probably the first one in UK to buy this particular module with the new upgrades. It used to be 30gb, p4 m 1.8 gz, 256mb ram it is now 40gb, p4 m , 2.2gz and still 256mb ram. There are still plenty of joybooks with the 30gb and 1.8 gz on the market so make sure you specify what products you want before you buy and make sure the salesman knows that too... even so I cannot fault it.

I went on review sites from around the world before buying this modal and BEN Q have excellent ratings. They love them in Australia, Germany, Japan, Spain, France,........need I say more.

The nice thing I found with this modal was it has an internal wireless card, (it did not specify this on the box) it also has a 15.2 " widescreen tft screen , the picture quality is fantastic cannot be beaten. Some have compared it with the apple Mac (we all know the mac has one of the most superior picture qualities around).

I know someone who has Dell p4 3.3 gz, 60gb, 512mb ram but preferes the joybook, and someone who has sony vaio who also preferes the joybook. Yes it has dvd-rw drive too..

Value for money ........it's about £300 cheaper than Dell..plus they never go wrong. You can get it for £1020 plus VAT from Procom Systems ltd = that's where I bought it from and they gave excellent service. Call now on 0208 332 7239
