Alienware Area-51 m15x

My girlfriend recently purchased this apparantly godly laptop. She was very excited to be able to own such a supposedly prestigious piece of computing equipment.

We both shared and used this laptop for a week, and then after that period of time. We booted the computer up and recieved "OS not found" and that the hard drive was unreadable. I would have expected this for a $100 dollar second hand craptop, but from an out of the box top of the line branded item like this? No this would not be acceptable.

On the bright side, for the time that we did have the laptop; it ran all games very seamlessly. I did however notice some intense computer lag while doing simple tasks in Vista OS, which to me is a deadly sin.

My advice to you all; do not purchase this laptop series from Alienware, unless you really enjoy 5kg paper weights. (and yes, the laptop is about 6 times as heavy as my Macintosh).
