AJP 2200C (Clevo)

Bought this Clevo 2200t laptop new in 2002 and it's still going well, the battery is just about had it but nothing has fell off or been replaced, and it still beats the pants off the wife's brand new acer aspire for speed and robustness.

Great connectivity, screen aint too bad, keyboard ok.

The battery life could have been better, and cold have had more usb sockets,but we are talking 2002 when HP/Compaq's only had one usb and firewire was virtually unheard of, but the Clevo had it!!

i would have been happier if i had been told the battery life was poor when i bought it,apart from that it's handled everything i could throw at it, and its even been bounced down the stairs, it's been a great little laptop.!

7 years old in Feb 08, still going strong - can't ask for more.

Casing is scratched, worn, cracked, has sellotape holding the battery cover on, and the covers for the floppy drive and PCMCIA slot fell off long ago - but make no mistake this is a top laptop.

4 years of reports, presentations, internet research and number crunching engineering programs at uni. Used as a route finder on a 6000mile road trip through 12 European countries (unaffected by unreliable power supply from 12v car battery), now running on a 24hr a day/365day basis for everything from email to music playback to a grid computing project.

Proof that unknown brands can and do deliver.
