Hi, I Am A Big Fan Of Acer Laptops And I Have 3 Of
Hi, i am a big fan of Acer laptops and i have 3 of them this one is really amazing if u buy it with ATI RADEON graphics and i have it for about 12 months it works really fast and i dont have any problem with it as it is easy to use and have a great look as well. In Addition it has got a built in bluetooth technology to transfer your files folders video clips from your mobiles and other electronic devices. The Blue ray Drive is really working fine for me and my battery still runs upto 2 hours. On the other hand you can also change the battery of it from 10.1v to 14.8V to get extra 1 hour so its depend on you basically how much extra things you want to add in it. Further more you can upgrade the ram for about 4gb to get the fastest speed which i have already had thanks for looking my review i hope it help u all.

The Sound Quality Is Amazing! If You Play A Song Y
The Sound quality is AMAZING! If you play a song you hear every detail! The screen is Great. Graphics are amazing too. Has blue ray (Y) Built in webcam is good, you can change saturation ect. I go on it every day and use it for almost everything, Internet, msn, itunes, adobe workshops, Windows media, microsoft documents, editing sound, games (sims), DVDs. The lot. It's stylish and flashy, with the touch pad on the left side for media. The only bad points are the battery life and the keypad needs a little more work.
But over all it's an amazing laptop that is worth its money. Loads of space on it and as I said before nothing can compare to how good the sound quality of this Acer Aspire is!!!!

My Acer Was Returned To Pc World After 4 Months As
My Acer was returned to PC World after 4 months as the Blue ray did not work, it was sent away and came back with the same problem, PC World then exchanged it for a Sony Vaio (at higher cost)
I note other have had the same problem, perhaps Acer were a little quick in getting this model out there without enough testing.
Just waiting for my other Acer bought at the same time to go wrong
Not happy with Acer but at least PC World did what they could.

I Had Mine For Only 6 Weeks Before The Blu-ray Dri
I had mine for only 6 weeks before the blu-ray drive stopped working. I took it back to PC World where i bought it and was told it would need a new blu-ray drive and would have to be sent for repair. 2 weeks later they are still trying to locate the parts for the repair'' and don't know when i will get it back. HOW PANTS IS THAT. I have alway bought acers but i will think again next time.

Talking Of The 13.3" Panel Equipped /3gb Ram/320gb
talking of the 13.3" panel equipped /3Gb Ram/320GB HDD/HD3650 Mobility GPU version.
Being mostly bedridden, could no longer use my desktop (overkill home build used for mild gaming and multimedia production), and my old lappy (HP zv5464ea) was lacking gaming needs due to it's one failing (GF4Go GPU),
So when i had to put the HP to pasture, i needed a new lappy that allowed for decent multimedia use (creation and playback), have a half-decent panel (have a 42" LCD HD TV when i need better viewing than the acer provides on it's already nice panel), half-decent sound handling (although i do use mostly serious cans for most audio playback or a top end hifi kit via sp/dif) on board and to be able to play GTA IV as a max gaming need and just about any backlist title that'll run under Linux or Vista.
And that, the particular ACER model i settled for out of the over the counter in-stock items i could test when my father took me out for a rare tour of the shops, did brillant for the money and goes beyond what i set out to get.,
Often the cinedash gets varies comments about it getting in the way, but if you remember to use the hold button, it's not an issue.
Don't be put off over the 512Mb Radeon HD3650 equipped items, as it's easy to be led astray by the nVidia fans who mock the 'lesser' GPU - it's good enough for me, the HD3650 i mean, and i'd bet many folks who want decent video repro and gaming and clear display, would find the whole package pleasing on first view.
I did, it walked over the DV7-series HP's (which had horrible audio and a badly reflecting screen), and just pipped the first choice on my list (A Toshiba with similar spec).
The audio and video and better keyboard size/layout turned my towards the Acer and having auditioned the remaster War Of The Worlds hybrid SA-CD on it (Audio CD mode clearly) and tested a classic movie or two off DVD (Kind Hearts and Coronets, from the B/W era, and Cannonball Run) it proved the multimedia components to be miles above adequate for the basic limiting factors of onboard speakers and typical audio/video chipsets on lappies.
GTA IV is cinematic enough for me, it being on of my few modern games (not a big gamer, but a lover of the GTA series).
Core 2 Duo gives it the edge i would have wanted in the desktop for heavy duty processing (my serious multimedia use uses software that's long being multi-core or multi cpu supporting and in many cases, have 64-bit versions when i get around to replacing the Vista 32-bit OS that came preinstalled).
Wireless Networking, if you got a wiff of a signal, it's enough to get a workable link through the onboard device. The inbuilt bluetooth gives you the third link via a cellular device if you get that desperate ;)
If in doubt, look for the 16inch panel version, but you may find the 13.3 inch panel to be more than adequate - but definately don't be fooled into thinking the Nvidia GPU equipped versions are the only sane choice - the HD 3650 512Mb easily is worth testing and found to be much better than the nVidia fanboys will tell of.,
Use your head, and let your eyes and ears decide as well as seeing that you see a good package without having to pay premiums for getting a top-end nvidia gpu equipped alternative.
Never even had the chipset combo on this unit even get close to hot even after a rare 8 hr stint on GTA IV. Which is more than i can say for the powerful beasties with Geforce GPU's.

Usual Excellent Acer Robust Engineering And Build
Usual excellent Acer robust engineering and build quality. Swapped processor for a T9300, changed to 4Gb of CL4 RAM and a 7200rpm 250Gb HD, easy to do and gives super performance. Mine has regular HD screen (1344x768) not the 1920x1200 but with good bluray discs, like spiderman 3, is brilliant. It can also drive a 1920x1200 tv through HDMI.
Make sure you choose a 'G' model (ie 6920G, not 6920) if you want a dedicated graphics card. This is essential for gaming. Extremely easy to upgrade.

Feels Solid, Key Operation Feels Positive And Give
Feels solid, key operation feels positive and give good feedback. Decent screen, and overall feature list. Veiwing Blue-ray discs such as "Planet Earth" etc the benefits of the screen's 16:9 format speak for themselves.
