Acer Provides Their Pcs With Windows 7 Preinstalle
ACER provides their PCs with Windows 7 preinstalled. I required a downgrade to Windows XP. Without this Downgrade the Laptop is not useful for our purpose.
The PC in question is Acer Aspire 5740 & I believe Win XP is not supported by ACER. So I am told! The PC is less than 2 months old, I can't seem to get a reply from ACERs so called support. Hence my opinion of ACER Support is very low.
Microsoft will not get involved as Win 7 was supplied by the manufacturer.
I would not have purchaced a PC from ACER if I had been aware of this anomaly.
