TP-Link TL-WPA281 AV200 Wireless

I could not get this piece of kit to pair with my existing tp link powerlie plugs at all waste of time, as is the tplink support

NON EXISTENT SUPPORT. They acknowledge your email request but dont get back to you, I have waited a week. This is the wrong company to trade with. Thank goodness I can return this useless piece of kit back to my friendly national retailer.

Bought this piece of kit with a second wireless extender for home as we where having problems getting a signal from the Virgin Media router we have.

After plugging in the sender box into the socket and connecting to the router I then plugged the extender into another plug in the kitchen. This kit hit it off straight away, but the problem arose after adding the second extender to another socket in the bedroom and trying to link the two together.

It sets up a different IP address to the first one so you basically have Two different signals in the house. I contacted a friend and he told me to ping the ttwo IP addresses together and everything should be OK so I tried that and due to my lack of knowledge with computer hardware, admitted defeat and just set them up the long way round Basically setting up Two signals on my laptops and Iphones etc and giving them the same password and just switching between the two depending where I am).

This works very well for me and keeps her who must be obeyed happy....
