TP-Link Model TL-WPA271 Kit

I have tried to plug my router into the first adapter, plug the second adapter in another room, pair the adapters as recommended and all I am getting on my android tablet, is "obtaining IP address2, I have no idea what this means, the instruction book offers no advice.

I may have messed up the installation, for example I have not configured my PC with the CD because my PC works fine being plugged into the router it does not need to be connected to the TP link kit, also the instructions seem to envisage my router being in a different room from my PC which is obviously stupid, most people have their router next to their PC if they have not set up a network, where else would it be?

Basically what the instruction booklet needs is a step by step guide written in English for none IT engineers. I have tried reading the instruction booklet on the CD supplied but that also is written in Geek, which I don't speak. The product might be the best thing since sliced bread, but until the manufacturers invest some time in developing plain English instructions then they don't deserve to sell any of their products. i dread to think how many of these have been flung to the back of cupboards and forgotten about, my advice is don't buy this product, save yourself the heartache.
