Belkin N Wireless Modem Router

The Belkin N300 F5D8636uk4A Modem Router is a rubbish wireless router, when setting it up you have to do a manual setup, as the assissted setup does not set it up. When using the assissted setup you enter all of the correct information, and it will then tell you that the information does not match the setup info what your isp has. Once it is all setup the router turns out to be rubbish, it will not load websites/webpages, also for online gaming the game is all jerky, and can not be played as it should.

The toshiba pick the Belkin n1 vision up with no problems. New laptops have problems. Not so easy to setup with old laptops. Do not use near 2 ghrz cordless phones.

We use the Belkin N Wireless Modem Router with 4 different computers at home. No problems all different brands laptops. Dell xps an H P, acer 4070 and a TOSHIBA SATELLITE A 350.

The Belkin N Wireless Modem Router seems an attractive router with its extened range and all that but i'm sitting about 20ish meters away from my router and struggling to keep a signal. it drops at times and when i set my router to channel 9 it is a bit more reliable but only about 12 or 18mps speed on average.

Do not buy this one. It's not as good as people say. Very very poor range. I can see the wireless in the room below, but not in the room next tot he room below. This router also keeps droppping the connections and the Internet.

I have had a Belkin wireless N Modem and Router for about 3 Months now . And so far so good. No Problems whatsoever. First set up you must connect a ethernet to your main computer. Which was a problem for me as I have to carry my computer to the router. A Problem as I am Disabled). anyway once it is set up it is quite easy to set up all the settings security etc. I paid £80.00 from Maplins and I must say it was good value for Money. One thing I have found is I am about 11 yards and 2 walls away from the router and I have found with the adapter holder I get 80% signal? But with the adapter hanging from my Desk light I always have a 100% signal. So would I recommend this Router so far, yes!
