Logitech X-540

Roommate bought these from himself, i was a big fan of the logitech Z4 as a cheap, high quality product, so wanted to check these out.

I was unimpressed from the get go. Thinking about getting a cheap surround sound setup? Think again. Nobody seems to have really hit the nail on the head with a cheap surround system, instead, don't kid yourself and save some more money and get a real home cinema option.

In the meantime, if cheap, high quality computer speakers is what you're after, have a look at the logitech Z4s. Only stereo, but if you mostly listen to music on your computer (which is recorded in two channels), adding more speakers is just going to hurt your sound, not help it. Invest instead in a pair of higher quality speakers. Great product, very cheap, amazingly flat frequency response, very good sound quality overall.

Overall, the Logitech X-540s were an excellent buy. For just 80 dollars, it was way better than I expected. Super easy to install, and use. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
