Built My First Pc In April And After A Lot Of Hunt
Built my first pc in April and after a lot of hunting I went with the OCUK Galaxy branded 7900GT. A decision that I'm very happy I stuck with. I can run F.E.A.R, Regiment, GTA:SA and a host of other games at full eye candy without complaint.
The cards temps are rarely above 50oc after about two hours of playing.
The card was a doddle to set up, in fact it was so easy I actually had to check a couple of time to ensure I had done it.
As per noise, it's hard to imagine a quieter card tbh, only time I hear it is on start up and even then it's noticeable for about ten seconds. There seems to be a lot of folks hovering over ATI at the mo with the x18 and 1900 series cards being the top two offerings but I can honestly say I wouldn't change this card for the world. And considering that the 7900 is now dropping in price to around the 180 quid mark there has never been a better time, in fact why not SLi??
