The ECS RS482-M motherboard has everything which newer motherboards are starting to remove: Parallel Port, Serial Port, Firewire, USB 2.0, 4 SATA 150, 2 IDE's (4x133), VGA on-board ATI 300 express @300MHZ, PCI express 16, overclockable, dual channel DDR400 support.
The board fired up first try, and I was able to set x2 3800+ (2000MHZ) to 2450MHZ ~ > x2 4600+ and stable with stock voltage & CPU cooler and PC2700 DDR dual channel.
Only 2 DIMM, so plan to buy your ram before, if you want 2 GB, buy 2 x 1GB. The bios upgrade is a little tricky, the best is to use DOS, get a bootable win98 disk to boot to DOS and flash the bios. The winflash sometimes won't flash the memory correctly.
It's a great board for the money. Although, ECS is famous for low budget boards, but this one has everything and it works reliably.
