I use computer that is based on this board more than 3 years.

It runs smoothly and stable.

My board is DeLux version and has built in IDE RAID wich I disabled.

My configuration is: AMD Athlon XP 1900+, 512M DDR SDRAM, 40G hard drive, LG DVD-ROM, Philips DVD+-R, Asus GeForce440MX with 64M SGRAM.

This computer can be used for office applications, software development, multimedia and even some 3D games (it runs smooth GTA VC, IL2 Shturmovik, 18 Wheels Of Steel:PTTM and etc).

It has nice sound card 5.1, 8 USB ports (only four of them are USB 2.0), hardware monitoring (very important for AMD processors of that generation).

It is a nice board, built very well, that still can serve few years and let enjoy of some most modern applications.

I recommend this board for its stable work, reliability and quality.

I have been using this Asus A7V333 motherboard (with latest BIOS from ASUS website) for several months with an Athlon XP 1800 chip, GeForce4 4200 card, 256MB RAM, etc. Running Windows XP. I have disabled the onboard sound and use a Soundblaster Live card instead. I have had no problems as a result of the motherboard and would recommend it.

However, by now there are probably other boards out there that are better!

Although This Asus A7v333 Motherboard Took A Week

Although this Asus A7V333 motherboard took a week to get working due to baffling hardware conflicts, since upgrading to the latest BIOS it has performed exceptionally well. The jumper-free BIOS settings allow easy customisation for squeezing the last bit of performance from your components. The Asus CPU overheating protection is a boon. Having four holes for CPU heatsink mounting is essental for people wanting to use performance heatsinks like the Swiftech MCX462. The digital audio is great (once you source their S/PDIF interface card). The only major gripe with this board is its limited memory compatability. Asus insist you only use DDR modules that are on their approved list. It has seen its heydey with the new KT400 mobos at realistic prices, but is still a viable alternative for those wanting to spend less.
