So, do buy it unless from a reliabe source and confirm if is the bug of the bios or it is just like that.
Think it over carefully before you decide.
Good Luck

The Abit Kt7a Kt133a Is An All Round Good Motherbo
The Abit KT7A KT133A is an all round good motherboard. Reliable, well built, and from a reasonably well known manufacturer. The price isn't as scary as it looks when you consider how much you're getting for your money. All things considered, this is a bit of a beast :)

This Motherboard (abit Kt7a Raid Kt133a Skt A 266m
This motherboard (Abit KT7A RAID KT133A Skt A 266Mhz FSB ATX) is awesome...I'm sorry ...but that first person to review it here must have something wrong...all you need is the right hardware...my computer: 400WATXserver tower, AMD t-bird 1.4ghz, 1.256gb pc133 cas very low think 2.5, 40gb hdd--seagate barracuda 7200rpm, sblive oem, and a geforce3 Ti500!!, a nc100v2 (network everywhere lan card...both win and bsd compatable--a must (: ) and finally windows XP Professional. I use this computer for internet, graphics rendering......tons of gaming and all that stuff. ...there is also a cd burner, dvd drive, and sony 32x cdrom....I can use ALL of the drives at full tilt and everything is running smooth...how nice is that? Just configure your hardware properly even w/o OCing it and you should be sitting pretty.
Contrary to your belief, I know how to setup hardware. Firstly if your using this as a graphics and gaming rig, its not brilliant as your motherboard will hold up any brilliant new graphics cards, especially ddr ones, plus youve got too much ram to run efficiently unless your cadding or a software and graphics designer.
This board suffers from abits compatibility problems, the live for instance. Just use abits forums or the net and youll find that abit is the most underrated manufacturor, due to consistant problems and no customer support.
I'm glad yours works fine, and they have a success story, but I test for the mainstream and on the whole they are off the league table of motherboards.

After Owning One Abit Kt7a Raid Motherboard And Te
After owning one Abit KT7a RAID motherboard and testing four of these motherboards I can firmly say that I regret buying one. In all tests the boards had problems with using multiple ram modules, singles were fine. Also it has a bad history with soundcards, notably SB lives. It is still very expensive in regards to the new boards on the market, especially since it has no ddr support. The main gripe however is that the after sales support for abit products is dire. After testing I emailed abit and the result was: 'sorry but the problems are known and unsolvable, you'll have to try different combinations', yeah cause I'm made of money. Likewise to say they went back.
Don't buy anymore, stick to new Mobos like Solteks SL75-drv4. That has stability, reliability unlike Abit products!

To Be Honest I Had Not Planned To Get Raid But For
To be honest I had not planned to get RAID but for the extra few quid it seemed worthwhile. I can now plug in more hard drives and back up my data with ease.
No messing with jumpers (i think they are a thing of the past these days), I found it dead easy to set up although my Chrome Orb took some pursuading to fit into place due to the transistors being close to the processor, (I believe they have replaced the wider Orb with a slimline version now)
BIOS had loads of options to play with but luckily I dont think many of them need changing unless you are overclocking etc.

Too Many Motherboards To Chose From If You Ask Me,
Too many motherboards to chose from if you ask me, but when it comes down to it I guess your board is one of the most vital parts of your system so i wanted one with all the best features. A lot had changed since I last purchased a motherboard, I like the extra USB ports, saves needing a hub, quite easy to fit, clear manual.
Nothing to get excited about but a good purchase for high end Socket A motherboard.
