Had The Lite-on Ldw-411s Dvd Writer For 5 Months P
Had the Lite-On LDW-411S DVD Writer for 5 months paid £90 can be bought for about £75 at the time of writing, sob!,came with Sonic Mydvd software,blank dvd+rw,dvd-rw disks,audio cable.It's a 4 speed drive (some have converted them to 8 speed, might try it myself when it's out of warrenty, be it on my own head) plus or minus capable model, runs quietly, I use Nero 6 burning software, sometimes Mydvd for av files although it can be fussy refusing them at the build menu stage. I use Bulkpaq orange media for dvd's and nothing special for cd's have only had about 4 coasters which were my fault out of approx 70 disks.
I'm glad i bought it.
It is good but it does stuff up if you leave the disc in for too long. it starts not to read any disk that has been left in there for even one hour. Thank goodness i have another cd drive in my computer or i would have taken it back to the shop! However it is good aswell with high writing speeds on both dvd and cd.
