Now Only £600 I Dont Think There Is A More E
Now only £600 I dont think there is a more even sounding and well made speaker out there infact I venture to say that upto £1000 you would be hard pushed to find a better speaker.
I heard the Kef Q7 coupled to a quad 99 system and they truely sang.
Maybe not having quiet the bass weight of my own pcm fb1 speakers (£1200) in all other ways the kef Q7 run them pretty close (too close infact)

These Floor Standing Kef Q7 Speakers Offer Excelle
These floor standing Kef Q7 speakers offer excellent value for money. The 3 way speaker system includes Kef's highly acclaimed Uni Q Hi/Mid combination and an unnsual running track shaped low frequency speaker. This enables Kef to include a low frequency driver with a surface area equivalent to a wider diameter standard driver that the width of the cabinet would allow.
The sound these speakers produce is wonderfully open givinga wider than expected stereo image. There's a nice bass sound and timing is more than acceptable. I upgraded to these from a pair of Celestion A1's and have noticed a great improvement in overall sound.
They cope brilliantly with Jazz, Rock and classical music and are particularly adept at interpreting vocals. At £800.00 you'd have to look very hard to find a similarly priced pair of floor standers to beat them.
A outstanding speaker now at only £600.
They give my pmc fb1 (£1200) a very close run imo.
Heard the Kef Q7 coupled to a quad 99 system (very sweet indeed).
