Just Purchased The Rd5g Version Of This Radio (woo
Just purchased the RD5G version of this radio (wood effect side panels and gold control panel). Took it out of the box and was pleasantly surprised by the solid feel to this radio. It feels quite weighty and seems to be really well screwed together.
Plugged it in, fired it up and tuned all the available channels in less than a minute. Really easy to use with a clear display and a nice 'warm' retro look. Sound quality is nice and about as good as you could expect from a mono speaker setup like this.
Overall, I love it and would highly recommend it to anyone else. I paid £79.50 + £4.99 shipping for this radio which seems to be a very competetive price at the moment.
