Due To A Licence Cost To Supply Fm Radio On Models
Due to a Licence cost to supply FM Radio on models sold in Europe there is an extra cost for this feature in the UK, making it more expensive. In my experience, Sandisk support and after care is very very poor.
I would avoid this mp3 player... go for the iPOD. there is a reason it is a best seller... it works and the customer support is good.

I First Got The Sandisk Sansa E280 Mp3 Player For
I first got the Sandisk Sansa E280 mp3 player for Christmas, I got the e250 (its the same thing only with 2GB instead of 8) and I liked it way better then the ipod nanos, it has a bigger screen and it doesn't have that stupid touch pad the ipods have (I always go past the song I want and click to wrong thing) I still have that same problem with this just not as bad. I didn't have any problems with putting the album art on this one but the headphone jack broke and you would have to wiggle it around to get the music to play out of both headphones, my dads boss' son had the same problem with his and he fixed it with nail polish so i tried to use super glue but that didn't work, then later it wouldn't play music at all so i just bought a new one from best buy for $110 (on sale) and put my broken one in the box and returned it. So far I haven't had any problems with the headphones on this one (I've had it for about a month maybe less, so lets hope they fixed that problem) other then that it is great, it has a custom EQ, you can browse by artist, album, song, genre, ect. (I kept the battery from my old one so if this one ever goes dead I have an extra) I think that it is more supirior than the damn ipods, plus it cost less! but no games :( but you might as well buy a gameboy or psp if you want it for games, its an mp3 player you don't need games on it alright.
I have the same mp3 player, except mine is 6gb instead of 8gb. I have the same problem with the headphones. Actually it's the mp3 player itself, not the headphones. About a year after I got it, sound wouldn't come out of my left earpiece. I would wiggle or twist the bottom of the headphone near the mp3 player and it would fix the problem. But then it got worse to where you'd have to constantly be holding down the headphone input so the sound would come out. I'm not too happy about that, but everything else on this mp3 player is superb. I would recommend it even with the headphone problem.
