The Philips Hdd085 Is A Great Mp3 Player. It Comes
The Philips HDD085 is a great mp3 player. It comes with Windows Media player 10 (the software you need to to put music on the device), a mains adapter, a USB 2.0 cable, a neckstrap, a rubber carry case and obviously a pair of earphones (which cost £15 in the old Argos catalogue!) The player has superb sound quality and several equalizer options, along with a dictation machine that records an exceptionally clear sound. The lack of an FM radio is a shame.
The unit also freezes if you press too many buttons too fast - this can be resolved be resetting the device (you won't lose any music or settings!)
Firmware upgrades are regularly available too.
I can personaly get about 800-900 tracks on mine- (a mixture of mp3 and wma files). My player has 8-9 hours of battery life.
If you're thinking of getting an Ipod, think again. I would consider getting one of these for half the price instead.
