I Can't Believe That Creative Came Out On Market W

I can't believe that Creative came out on market with such a piece of sh*t.

Its almost impossible to connect the player to computer with low battery (it keeps turning off instead recharge battery).

Its impossible to delete a file in menu options.

Applications are installing like 2 hours, and you can not just connect your player via USB to copy music. You HAVE TO install application. Also soft is very old (last upgrade in 2007) and thats how Creative cares about customers.

Well It Was Great Until I Had It About A Year And

Well it was great until I had it about a year and I wanted to put more songs on it. However when I did a dark line appeared across my screen cutting some of the picture. Then a few months later it happened again so now I had two lines. A few days later the screeen completely black out and was only barely visible in the dark!!! Dont buy this product!

I Bought The Zen V+ After Having Had Just A Simple

I bought the Zen V+ after having had just a simple music only 2Gb player with no on screen display. I confess it did the music part of what I wanted very well, it doesn't cope with photos though and you might as well forget the idea of any video clips.

I realise I'm asking a lot from such a small screen but to be fair Creative claim it can do it and the claim simply isn't true.

The interface is good, or at least it was for me.....easy to scroll music lists and easy to select....no complaints there.

The battery life was good enough for my day to day use.

If the only problem was the poor picture/film quality then I'd have been fine as to be honest I wanted it mostly for music anyway.......the real problem however was it's reliability.

It simply stopped working after about two months, it was completely dead....wouldn't even turn on.

I scanned through the Creative web site and found the FAQ.....top of the list for the Zen V is exactly what had happened to mine.

So I figure it's a fairly common fault that creative are well aware of.

I e-mailed them about it and had a few replies along the lines of reset this and try and re-format that....all impossible with a unit that wouldn't turn on.

In the end they confirmed what I'd said at the start....then they lost interest in me entirely.

So, the product has an inherent fault that the manufacturer appears to be aware of but don't expect any support.

I threw it in the bin and bought another make. By all means buy one and take your chances if you want it for just music but be sure you don't pay too much for it.

Otherwise probably better to avoid.
