Okay, I'm going to have to flip-flop on this. Last time, I touted the full-version iPod over the mini, but your reply made a good case for the mini. 256MB isn't very much, unsles you are going to change your line up of music every other day. I have 128MB in my Tungsten, which is enough for about two albums in AAC format, but after the first couple of days and songs start repeating, you'll realize how little capacity that is. 256 is indeed better than 128, but obviously none of that holds a candle to 4GB.Of course, this only applies if, unlike myself, you'd rather have a certain selection of songs with you most of the time. I get addicted to certain albums at a time, so for me, the mini's probably the best choice, so that I can get a break from something every now and then.As always, your mileage may vary.

Really Fantastic Little Device.

I have had a Creative Muvo VERY similar to this for about 4 years. Incredibly reliable, takes batteries which is so convenient. Only problem is it has only 1 gb, but a really fantastic device. Never had any problems, simple plug and play to reload with new music/podcasts.

Really Excellent Product

Really excellent product. I have one very similar to this, it's not the exact same model, but really good. Very reliable, takes batters so no need to recharge, simple to plug and reload straight away. The only problem is it's only 1gb, but the most useful MP3 player i've ever had.

I Bought The Creative Labs Nomad Muvo Nx For My Br

I bought the Creative Labs Nomad Muvo NX for my brother after his previous $2 players had come up short, I told him it was time to dump the junk and go with a decent brand so this is what I plumped for. As usual it was a good call on my behalf with excellent sound quality. The headphones aren't the best, but small issues like that are wasted on my brother, he's pig ignorant when it comes to anything that has a battery or a socket.

He tells me he is getting good value out of the batteries which are quoted at a 12 hour playback and he claims that this is an accurate statistic. As ever with mp3 players, the build quality is just a load of plastic, if I was buying for myself then I would have looked at some metal casing, however, as it was for my brother, he can live with poor build quality.

This is basically a small, compact, nice looking and functional MP3 player with killer sound quality. If you're a major league MP3 fan then this may not be enough for you, but if you're a small timer, like my idiot brother, then this will more than suffice.
