I Bought These On The Premise That They're A Decen

I bought these on the premise that they're a decent pair of in ear phones, I am very disappointed in them. They sound dull & muffled, no clarity to the music, the only saving grace is the design.

Overall Great Sounding Ear Buds With Excellent Cla

Overall great sounding ear buds with excellent clarity and detail. The bass response is decent but not skull pounding which makes it comfortable for long hour listening.

What I think you actually bought was a pair of fake MDR-EX90LP's. They are abundant on ebay and easy to spot due to the obvious price difference. Having bought a pair myself out of curiosity I can conclude that in terms of sound quality they are shockingly bad. I have a genuine pair of MDR-EX85LP's and they absolutely destroy the fake MDR-EX90LP's in terms of sound quality, infact the cheap earphones I got with my mp3 player are on par with the fakes.

In 2.99?, probably fake one. Original Sony MDR EX90LP is US$100. Thanks.

Very Good Earphones With Great Build Quality But C

Very good earphones with great build quality but compared to my last set of earphones (Sony EX-71's which I lost) it lacked as much clarity with voice's, HIGH-end treble and LOW-end bass.

On some styles of music, the instruments mushed together. And after one day of using them I felt as if my head had taken a beating.

I've sold the Ex90's and bought another pair of EX-71's instead because I was much happier with them.

Compared to standard earphones these are excellent! They block out the noise well, they are very loud and surprisingly comfortable.
