Well This Is The Third Review I Have Written About

Well this is the third review I have written about these headphones, and the reason is that the control has now broken again (see my previous reviews).

It's a shame as they are great otherwise, sound still performs well, comfort wise they are superb. BUT! The controls centre button has just stopped working properly, and this causes the key functions to fail. To skip a track you need to double click, and to go back, you need to triple click.... I just can no longer do this as the click doesn't always connect, so I either pause the track, or skip the wrong way, causing me to shout on the tube and look like a crazy. Thanks Sony, not only do my THIRD pair now not work, people on my train think I am crazy. This is the main reason I no longer recommend these headphones.

Don't buy, you will be disappointed. get the apple ones, I am getting the expensive inner ear bud ones with the control (which works really well) after testing my friends ones, with new clean buds supplied :)

bye bye Sony ...

I Have Writtena Review On These Before, But I Am

I have writtena review on these before, but i am writing again,as i have had to purchase them again....

This is the third pair of these I have had. They are a great alternative to the expensive ipod remote headphones (or the cheaper version that don't fit well). The sound is great, they fit well, they look subtle, they don't encourage theft of your hardware.... however. the controller is not built very well, it is weak and prone to breaking. my first pair, the controller just stopped working, and the button fell out. the second pair the centre section of the button didn't work at all, so pause/skip/go back didn't work (the whole point of the control). the third pair are still working, so fingers crossed. the only reason I bought them again was there is are no real alternatives to these for a good price, except he apple ones, but I travel on the tube everyday and I want top hang on to my ipod, hence black headphones. So not bad, but could be better....

Oh, and the price from argos online is about £12 cheaper than sony centre, so a good deal. I reserved online, then walked round the corner to pay. bargain at 22 notes

I Recently Received An Ipod Touch For Christmas, A

I recently received an ipod touch for Christmas, and I love it to bits. however, the headphones are awful.... they don't sit in my ear well and I constantly have to push them back in. this gets annoying while commuting in London I got the apple headphones that have the integrated mic/controller so I was reluctant to get any headphones without this and I thought it would cost a fair bit to get this feature again. I aimed to spend around £60, maybe the official apple buds that have the rubber earpiece that sits further in your ear. To my joy I found that Sony have started making the earbuds I used to have (but lost) WITH THE IPOD CONTROL! so I searched for the best prices online, and found that the Sony centre round the corner has some in stock for £35. that was nearly half my budget, so I went round and sure enough they had them. I bought them there and then and have not looked back. they are just as good as the ones I lost, but with a very similar control to the ipod one. the control is shaped slightly differently to the apple one, and I have seen others moan about the missing indentation, but I find the click on the Sony control more responsive, I know when I have triple clicked to go back a track, which when my hands are cold (in this -3 weather at the mo), was a tricky task on the ipod ones.

So overall, they are priced well, sound great, bass response is good, control and mic work perfectly, come with 3 different size ear buds, carry case and cord management gadget included. They are not the best earbuds in the world, but if you are looking for ipod control earbuds that don't cost too much money and have great sound quality, look no further.
