I Have Been Using The Stock Earphones That Came Wi
I have been using the stock earphones that came with my Iriver MP3 player since I got it, but working on an industrial estate and sitting outside to listen when the weather is nice, the noise of HGVs spoils my listening experience.
I had seen the Griffin Earthumps advertised on several websites and the general impression I got of them was that you get a great sound and it helps to shut out a lot of background noise.
When I first started my player up, I was almost deafened. The volume control was set about halfway on the player (level 18 of 40). I had to turn the volume down to level 8 for it to be comfortable. For a pair of in-the-ear earphones the sound quality from these babies is outstanding. The sound is very full, with plenty of bass and treble to give you a great listening experience. Most of the music on my player is from the "Electronica genre" which was very popular in the early nineties and I am hearing sounds and frequencies that I have never noticed before. I was worried that maybe the bass might be too much for the vocal stuff on my player, but once again it sounded great and not too heavy. Nick Drake's "Five Leaves Left" sounds magnificent and there is no percussion on there at all.
These earphones are available at a fantastic price for the quality of aound that they produce. I bought mine for only £12.99, and when you consider that some earphones from other brands can cost a lot more, these sound magnificent and are really worth a try.
