Even Better Than 'beats'!
I lost my old 'Beats' headphones recently, which I was devastated about as they were one of the very few 'gadgets' I am willing to invest heavily in. I'd had them for about a year and listening to music on the go just wasn't the same without them. I thought the sound quality was great and they shut off outside noise brilliantly.
Little did I know, there was an even better alternative out there: Bose On Ear Headphones, specifically the QC311 model. With patented noise cancellation technology, they transport you to another world when you put them on. The sound quality is unparalleled; since wearing them, I have found myself hearing details in songs than I never knew existed. They look stylish, and they fit really well.
I experienced the only downside to these yesterday - the noise cancellation is so powerful, there was someone next to me literally shouting directly at me and I couldn't hear them. They had to grab me just to ask me if I wanted a cup of tea!

You Can Try The Bose On Ear At The Apple Store,nor
You can try the Bose on ear at the Apple Store,Norwich and Giles Electrical store, Bethel Street Norwich. Apple even let me compare with my sennheiser PX 200 11 headphones, which I think I am going to take back as they are tinny and uncomfortable on the ear, although they have a wonderful volumn control on the lead, and they had clarity of sound. I will probably get the Bose because they were rich in sound and so comfortable to wear (although pricey) and small enough for out and about. I only hope they will be loud enough.

I'm trying to find out as much as possible about these headphones before parting with the £120 required (that's twice as much as my first car cost!). Most users, as opposed to 'experts', seem to like them and I'll probably go ahead and buy some. I've heard that they're rather 'lush' sounding with a strong bass, rather than crystal clear like some other brands, but that's just the kind of sound that I like. Thanks for taking the trouble to put your review on here - always appreciated.

I have just Purchased Them but I think they will be fine.
Light and confortable to wear, great sound, cost could be lower.
I do think that BOSE which ever store that you buy them from should have the facility for the customer to be able to try them first.
