Quality product that is ideal for travel. The BOSE Acoustic 2 collapse into a reasonable sized case that is provided and also offers some protection. Excellent on airplanes and do significantly cut down background noise. Can't say if they are any better than any other noise reducing headphone as no other manufacturer allows you to try theirs on and test them before purchase. It is certainly a quality product but comes at a premium price.
I have two pairs of these headphones and they are fantastic for long haul flights! Highly recommended :-)
Very good for cutting out most of the roar of jet engines. Less good at high frequencies. You still hear air conditioning hiss. Sound quality with in flight entertainment is good.
