Rega Planar 3

I've had my bright green Planar 3 for at least 12 years and not only does it still look slick and sexy, appeasing the minimalist in me but it still evokes the same emotions when I play my much-loved vinyl. As long as you change the needle once in a while (and it's well worth pampering), it's all you'll ever need. Serious satisfaction.

I think the rega planar 3 is one of the best record decks i have ever listend to in my life. i also think that it's the best value for mony due to the fact that the rega p3 can rival a £1000 cd player just to mach the sound quality of the rega p3. i have to say that im glad to own a rega planar 3 and i do recommend this make to a friend. the p3 is a sexy sleek bit of engineering.

I have had my Rega Planar 3 for 15 years and its my favorite possession. Its not for people who want any old thing to play their old records and want to be able to change from singles to LP's in a flash, but for those who want to enjoy their records. It will play any records even those who are horribly scratched. I just love it.

I have owned my Rega Planar 3 for approximately 25 years and I just love it! I've never seen another one in a store or in someone's home and I am pleased to find out there is a lot of information about them.

I have owned my Rega Planar 3 for about 12 years now without any problems at all. Excellent sound quality. Beats CD player to bits on sound quality.

I have used the Rega Planar 3 for many years as a professional tool in music studios and have found nothing to touch it for sound quality at the price. It is dynamic, detailed and involving, and sounds as good as most CD players.

The only turntables I have heard that beat it is my Linn LP12/Ittok and the Neumann disk cutting lathes used in the disk mastering rooms.

This is an excellent choice for anyone going into the Audoiphile end of Vinyl. Sure you can get better but for the realistic Vinyl lover its the one to get. Remember its all relative. If you buy this TT with a decent Cartridge you will love it. Even the much higher priced TT's are not for the dollar that much better. Highly recomended, by a Recording Engineer. I have A/B Lps with CD's with this TT and it stands up to the test.

I love this Rega Planar 3 turntable. The sound through my Rega Mira with the Elys cartridge is warm and clean - a little too clean sometimes. Admittedly, I'm in it for looks as much as sound and this baby satisfies all of my needs. At the risk of leaving a mess all over the page, my P3 has been called sexy, a designer's wet dream, and simply stunning. Oh ya, did I mention the great sound?

Although initally impressed by this nice looking and sounding piece of machinery, I was some what disappointed at the lack of durability. I find the best way to measure the quality of a turntable is to give it a good kicking. Unfortunatly this had an adverse effect to the Rega Planar 3. I therefore wouldn't recomend that you get this product unless you are certified 100% sane.
